Are You Good Enough?

by Karen Brooks on October 18, 2012

How many times a day do you say this to yourself?  We are constantly comparing ourselves to others. Am I as pretty as she is? Am I going as good at the job as he is? Am I good enough to win the competition?

Your ego is constantly telling you that you are not good enough. This can lead to feelings of unworthiness .  In my personal journey, I can look back now and realize that I had a terrible problem with self esteem. I was comparing myself to others. The natural gifts that I was born with were put aside. I compared myself to others and wanted what someone else had.

With my belief in my self talk, I was limiting the potential within me. The things in life that I wanted were always just outside of my reach. Well, this was my life, and I had the opportunity to reset it whenever I wanted! The only thing that good enough means, is the meaning that I gave it.

About five years ago, I started to realize everything that made me unique. All of my God given talents were there,  just waiting to be unleashed. Once I examined the self talk, I was on the road to living the life of my dreams.

Stress seemed to melt away. The little things that seemed to always upset me, didn’t have the same meaning anymore. More opportunities just seemed to fall into my lap.

God designed us to be whole, perfect, complete, talented, remarkable, fabulous and amazing human beings! Stop living the lie that you aren’t good enough. Make the decision today to have the life of your dreams!
