Though most people think that black tea may not be good for you when compared to green tea or white tea, there are health benefits for those who drink the black varieties. It can be very good for you if you drink tea on a regular basis.

There are several health benefits associated with this type of tea. There are many different types of blacks and some provide more health benefits than others.

Here is a list of the common health benefits in most types of the black variety.

Black Tea can assist with weight loss. There are no calories in black tea, and it can aid in weight loss if used as a substitute beverage that contains sugar. Every time you reach for a soda or juice, try a cup of black tea instead. Those extra pounds will melt away.

It promotes blood flow and can lower blood pressure if drank on a regular basis. It is also a health tonic for those suffering with high blood pressure.

It naturally contains flouride, drinking black varieties can help prevent tooth decay.
